The pond area before the summer was a bit of a headache! Those flags were a worry, the area was overgrown and murky and there was nowhere safe to stand and do some of the pond dipping we longed to do! So Mrs Hawkins and Mrs Whitley - our Garden Angels - requested the help of some local fairies and LOOK WHAT HAPPENED!!!
A whole team from Interserve - the builders who are working on the Holt Park Leisure Centre - spent a few weeks over the summer weilding their magic wands (and their saws, their hammers and their shovels!) and made it look THIS BEAUTIFUL!!! It is gorgeous, it is not murky any longer and it is SAFE! Look - there is even somewhere to stand and do your dipping! We are SOOOOOOOO grateful to them for their work - and the best bit? All this was for FREE! It didn't cost us a bean and it is amazing. Thank you Interserve - we think you're fab!
